Well done Swavesey Netballers

HUGE congratulations to our three netball teams for some fantastic game-play in last week's local area second round of the SCSSP tournament.

What an amazing achievement for all our teams, and progress, especially for our Yr5 team from the first round of the tournament.  They played with great teamwork and the embodied the sprit of the games ethos.

A huge thank you to Mrs Durant, Mrs Gladwell, Mrs Parsons and Ms Smith who did an amazing job in Mrs Turian's absence in organising and supporting our teams.

Here are reviews from some of the players:

Isla - On Thursday 14th March, three teams went to a local netball tournament hosted at Northstowe. The A team won every match they played; some of them were very close and others were won by a large margin. Overall the A team came 1st in division 1. I had a really fun time and I hope to do it again soon!

Moses - I really enjoyed the netball tournament because we got to run around a lot and use our energy! I am also surprised at how well the B-team did as we won every match apart from two which we drew. Undefeated! I'd like to thank Mrs Durrant, Mrs Gladwell, Miss Smith and Mrs Parsons for sacrificing their free time in order for us to play.

Elsie - A few days ago we went to a netball tournament. We won 2 matches, lost 2 and drew 1. I think we did really well and we also got to watch some of the A and B team matches. I hope that I get to go again to further tournaments. Thank you to the adults who came and for Mrs Turian for making is possible. I hope she will be pleased with how well we did!
