Swavesey 'SANTA RUN' 2025

Eleven classes and Pre-school completed their 'Santa Run' in the December sunshine!

Last week, it was the SCSSP 'Run for Fun' week, so Swavesey once again used the week to fundraise, by taking part in their 'Santa Run'.

The children looked fabulous in their Christmas jumpers and hats and the weather was kind to every class. The run had additional festive charm, with Christmas music blasting across the school field, with lots of children singing and dancing around the track. A great end to a very busy term!

Everybody had the chance to take part if they were at school on the day, with all completed laps recorded towards 'Golden Mile' totals. Lots of children have managed to achieve their next certificate because of the run, and class teachers will be presenting these in class this week, once I have printed them all !

Well done to everybody for the great effort, with the total mileage definitely reaching the 'North Pole' once again this year!

Requested medals were sent home on Friday, to those children who were in school that day. There are medals still available if you would like your child to have one.

To request a medal (photo above), please send a minimum £5 CASH donation, in a named envelope to the school office, by WEDNESDAY 17th DECEMBER, to ensure it is received before the end of term.

Thank you for supporting this popular fundraising event. The final total raised will be announced in the final newsletter of this term.

Photos of all year groups may be viewed in the 'photo gallery'.

Happy Christmas to you and your family, and thank you for your continued support.
