Updates from Mrs Norden

Sporting events, Phase trips, Summer Fair fundraising and our Swavesey's Got Talent final have been key features of the last few weeks.  Thank you to everyone who has supported all these activities, as a huge amount of work goes into making them successful.

Our Summer Fair raised just under £4000 for the PTA of much-needed funds to support the school. Whilst it was a very hot afternoon, it was lovely to see so many visitors.  Thank you to everyone who ran stalls and activities to aid such a fantastic fundraising total.  We hope everyone enjoyed it!

Well done to all the children last week for their efforts during the School Games sessions, despite the heat.  You can read about the final results through the articles below with a clue in this picture.  Thank you to Mrs Turian for all her hard work in organising and setting up - twice.  Also to the SVC Sports leaders who supported on Monday, and our own Year 6 Sports leaders who supported on Friday.

There are various articles below which share even more news on trips and sporting events, wit a thank you to staff and volunteers for making them possible. Thank you also to Mr O'Neill for organising our Swavesey's Got Talent competition again this year.  The final results of which will be published in an article soon.

We are looking forward to our Yr5/6 production this coming week (8th and 9th) and Fabulous Fundraising Friday (11th).  F.F.F is a non-uniform day (with donations going to the PTA) and the day of our PTA discos details for which are on the poster below.

Could you foster?

At Nexus Fostering based in Lolworth, we’re looking for local people like you to become foster carers. By providing a loving and stable home environment, you can support the increasing number of children and young people in the local area who cannot live in their family homes. Not all children require long-term care. We also need foster carers for short-term placements, respite care, and to provide temporary homes to support young parents and their babies. So, if you have a spare room and are ready to change lives, please give us a call on 01223 903 503 or email Leanne on leannea@nexusfostering.co.uk.
