Updates from Mrs Norden

Our assembly last Friday was a reflective time and Nevada's family were grateful for everyone's kindness and support.  Our special bench has been placed on the school field looking out across the green space where he enjoyed so much, especially playtime football.

The ELSA study team have sent a huge thank you for your engagement with their diabetes study with 10% of our children participating.  Such studies will not only support individuals who take part but also the wider developments in early identification of a disease which severely impacts lives.

This next half term looks to be even busier than the first, which begins with our PTA quiz next Friday (28th February). If you haven't booked your team in, please see the information below.  I know the quiz masters have been busy to ensure we have an enjoyable evening.

As always, we will be celebrating reading and books during our reading week and World Book day, information from Mrs Sprawson below details some of the fun to be had.

Please keep reading for new news articles, updates and reminders.

Could you foster?

At Nexus Fostering based in Lolworth, we’re looking for local people like you to become foster carers. By providing a loving and stable home environment, you can support the increasing number of children and young people in the local area who cannot live in their family homes. Not all children require long-term care. We also need foster carers for short-term placements, respite care, and to provide temporary homes to support young parents and their babies. So, if you have a spare room and are ready to change lives, please give us a call on 01223 903 503 or email Leanne on leannea@nexusfostering.co.uk.
