PTA and Fundraising Update

Please see below the news article for the PTA Bake Off Competition and also the PTA's Autumn term newsletter.

Don't forget we will be having an open classroom session and our Firework's display tomorrow, Friday (3rd).

Classrooms will be open from 4.15pm to 5.15pm for parents and carers to share in their children's work with them before the PTA fireworks. The front gate will be opened at 4.15pm, and we ask you to enter (and leave) school through the front door to access the classrooms.  We will be closing the classrooms at 5.15pm to allow staff to get ready to help with the PTA event.

Families will then be able to access the rear playground for the Fireworks' event from 5.30pm to join in the fun.  Entry will be from the front playground for those leaving classrooms and Kids Club around the side of the building, or the vehicle gate for those arriving from outside the premises.

The event is cash only, see entry prices in the poster below.  There will also be a BBQ, drinks and cakes available for purchase. Cake donations can be dropped off at any time tomorrow (Friday) to the main office.

Exiting the premises at the end of the firework display will be through the vehicle gate.

Sunday 12th November is National Remembrance Day, and we are supporting the RBL Poppy Appeal again this year.  Please see details below for making a donation.

RBL Poppy Appeal - make a donation today.

If you wish to make a donation we have Poppies and other items in school and these can be accessed in the main office.  Additionally, some of our Year 5/6 children will take these around classrooms from tomorrow until next Friday for children to make their donation and choose an item.

For EY&P families we ask that you come to the main office to donate - we will not be taking the items into the setting for children.

The items and donation tin will also be in the school hall tomorrow night during our fireworks event.

The picture below illustrates the items we have: traditional poppies, poppy key rings, wrist charity bands, zip tags and wrist wrap bands which double as a ruler.
