Updates from Mrs Norden

Our Reading Week was a great success with so many wonderful activities organised by Mrs Sprawson, to whom we send a huge “Thank You”.  Take a look at the articles below for more details, and click the gallery links within them to 'see' more of the adventures the children have had.

Our Readathon has already raised over £500, and we are excited to find out what our final total will be when we reach the deadline on Wednesday 8th.  Thank you to everyone who has joined in and supported us in helping other children access the delights of stories.   We hope the children have enjoyed the reading challenges they set themselves.

The next few weeks have even more exciting activities in store for us and so keep a look-out on our website, and through our newsletter, for details of our next ventures.

Mrs Crossman and Mrs Poskitt have been developing SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) resources to support the work we do with our children and families.  Please use the link here to access an overview sheet with signposted resources for you to use at home.  The overview sheet can also be found at the bottom of the SEND page on our website here.  We hope you will find these useful and easy to access.

We are looking forward to our PTA quiz on Friday (10th) and hope lots of you will be able to join us for a fun evening.  If you haven't booked your table yet please see the information below to do this.  This is our first quiz since the first lock down in 2020, and it will be wonderful to see the event return.  Thank you to the PTA for organising.
