Updates from Mrs Norden

I write today having spent the week with our Year 6s on their residential trip to PGL, and am immensely proud of them for all their achievements.  They have truly embodied throughout the week our 5Rs, in particular resilience, challenging themselves, over coming fears and learning new skills.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr O'Neill, Miss Higgins, Mrs Gladwell and Mrs Whistler, who gave up their time to come with us, ensuring it was possible for the trip to go ahead.  Also, to the PGL staff for all their encouragement, support and expertise.  Please read the article linked below to hear more about the Yr6s' adventures.

For those in school this week it has also been a busy time.  The children have been exploring the theme of 'Empathy', through varied activities across the week, including celebrating National Empathy day.  Reception visited South Angle farm on Monday, while Year 5 undertook their Bikeability course and also took part in a BMX workshop. You can read more about these activities through the news article or gallery links below.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, I expect I will probably, like at least some of our year 6s, sleep through much of it!
