Updates from Mrs Norden

It has been another busy week in school with a tennis competition, children being shortlisted or placed in various other competitions and, of course, our chicks astounding us all with their growth development. Additionally, Yr1/2 were visited today by a variety of creatures including snakes and spiders as part of their topic work.

Read the latest news articles for more details through the links below and look out for more articles through the coming week about these ventures.

Please keep reading to the bottom of the newsletter for all this week's updates and information as there is much to share today.

Reception Team request: We are looking for donations to expand our range of small world toys - these are toys children can use to make up stories with, great for developing imagination and creativity. If you have, or know of someone who has, any of the toys from the list we have created (accessed here), and would be willing to donate to us, we would be very grateful.  Please send them in with your child.

Nexus Fostering - Please access their information here.  They are in need of foster carers in the local area.

Swavesey Cubs - Are you aged 8-10.5 and like having adventures?  Then why not join the Swavesey Cubs Tuesday evenings at 6.15pm!  Read further details here.

Admin Updates:

1. MCaS pupil data checks - we have had several occasions recently where we have discovered that the information we have on MCaS for children is incorrect e.g. contact telephone numbers.  Please can we ask you to check your child's data and update where necessary.

2. Dinner Balance Issue rectified - Thank you for your patience wit the dinner balance issues.  These have now been rectified and MCaS now shows your correct balance to date.

3. Naming Uniform - we are beginning to build up a pile of un-named lost property.  If you are missing anything please check the box in the front entrance hall and the picnic tables in the quiet area.  If clothes are named we can return them to their owner, so please do make sure labels are clear with your child's name.
