Autumn Term Updates

Little Princess trust Fundraising -

Iris, one of our Year 4 pupils, will be having her hair cut and donating it to the Little Princess Trust on Wednesday 4th December.  Iris has between 12-15 inches of hair which would create a lovely wig for another child who has lost theirs because of cancer or other conditions. If you are able to support Iris in her fundraising efforts for this worth while cause, there is a charity box in Reception for any loose change, or you can contribute via her just giving page by clicking here.

Large Guitar stand - If anyone has a large guitar stand they would be willing to donate to school to support those who have guitar lessons with Mr Cory, we would be really grateful.

Helpful December list - please click here (and see below) for our helpful list of events with times, dates and brief details for December.

Reminders:

School Gate - Please can you ensure that children are not using the gate release button to leave the school grounds to support us with our ongoing safeguarding.

Christmas lunch 18th December - In order that the catering staff can finalise their orders, meeting the deadlines set by the suppliers, please book your child's Christmas lunch on Scopay by Wednesday 4th December - you will need to book the lunch for that date. It will not say in Scopay its Christmas lunch.

Future Events/Dates this half term:

EY and KS1 productions 10th and 11th November - details have been sent out to those phase families today (by email) to book your seats. Booking goes live at 1800hrs today.

Swavesey PTA Christmas Raffle - A Chance to Win Amazing Prizes!

This year, the Swavesey PTA is organising a Christmas Raffle to raise essential funds for our school. The raffle will operate in a similar way to our Summer Fair raffle: each child will bring home 10 raffle tickets today to sell to family and friends. The raffle will be drawn at the school Carol Concert on 13th December.

We’ve lined up some fantastic prizes, and every ticket sold will help make a difference. Please see the poster below for details of the prizes.

If you are unable to sell your tickets, kindly return them so we can offer them to others who may be able to help.

Thank you for your continued support!

Could you foster?

At Nexus Fostering based in Lolworth, we’re looking for local people like you to become foster carers. By providing a loving and stable home environment, you can support the increasing number of children and young people in the local area who cannot live in their family homes. Not all children require long-term care. We also need foster carers for short-term placements, respite care, and to provide temporary homes to support young parents and their babies. So, if you have a spare room and are ready to change lives, please give us a call on 01223 903 503 or email Leanne on leannea@nexusfostering.co.uk.
