Updates from Mrs Norden

The new term is in full swing and school has been a hive of activity.

If you were able to attend our parent/carer information meetings, we hope these were useful, and you were able to ask the questions you had.  If you were unable to join us, the termly information documents (which can be found through the links below) and the presentation slides (which will be sent out this coming week) will hopefully provide all the information you need.

On Friday 27th September we will be holding our annual Harvest assembly and will again be collecting for Jimmy's Cambridge, and we hope you will be able to support us in this. This year we will be joined by one of Jimmy's staff members, as they are always grateful for all the support we provide through our harvest collection.  Last year we contributed to 40,000 meals they were able to provide their residents.  As always, children should take their donations into their classrooms on the morning of 27th.  You can find Jimmy's donation suggestion list in the newsletter further down.

Could you foster?

At Nexus Fostering based in Lolworth, we’re looking for local people like you to become foster carers. By providing a loving and stable home environment, you can support the increasing number of children and young people in the local area who cannot live in their family homes. Not all children require long-term care. We also need foster carers for short-term placements, respite care, and to provide temporary homes to support young parents and their babies. So, if you have a spare room and are ready to change lives, please give us a call on 01223 903 503 or email Leanne on leannea@nexusfostering.co.uk.
