Updates from Mrs Norden

We have reached the end of the term, which has brought excitement and sadness to our school.  It has seen many events for individuals, small groups, phases and the whole school. We hope you have enjoyed reading their adventures through the news articles about them.

Our three children's committees have worked hard to develop different aspects of our school, providing the children with a voice and opportunities to be a part of positive changes for us. They each have their own blog now, and we hope you have been able to access these (see below) to catch up with what they have been doing and especially to read the tips for greater sustainability from the Eco-committee.

We have to say a huge thank you to the PTA for their continued support and fundraising, which supports curriculum provision as well as fun activities for all across the school.  Today they had organised for Father Christmas to visit and funded the pantomime the primary children enjoyed. We are so grateful to Father Christmas for giving up time in his busy schedule to visit. It has been a wonderful way to finish our Autumn term and lead into the Christmas holidays.

I would also like to take a moment to thank the staff for all they have done for our children and families this term pastorally and educationally, to our children who have shown great resilience and personal responsibility, particularly in these last few weeks, and to you, our parents and carers, for your continued support.

We hope you have a wonderful Yuletide, with fun, festivities and some well deserved rest along the way.  We look forward to seeing you in the new year on the children's first day back on 5th January 2024.
